My First Spanish Book is a short story that celebrates the power of language and the beauty of friendship. I created this little story for my Spanish club to explore how, sometimes, we may want to run away when we hear something different, as we don't understand what's happening. The story follows three characters from different linguistic backgrounds who, despite initial misunderstandings, come together to form a bond, and they learn to say Como te llamas in English and Spanish.
