This piece was born from an exploration of the different water archetypes within the birth chart. I worked with the waters of Scorpio, Pisces and Cancer, bringing them together to create a triad.
Sedna is the Inuit goddess of the sea and its depths. Her story begins with betrayal: she falls into the ocean, and from her severed fingers, all the creatures of the sea are born.
Here, the whale, or perhaps a cave of water, emerges from the deep ocean, bringing those hidden waters to the surface.
